Tribotrak, DACA Instruments

This piece of equipment is of particular interest for coating surfaces such as glass slides to further allow for epitaxial growth of crystals and eventually to permit alignment of other kind of materials such as liquid crystalline polymers. The coating material used is PTFE and can be applied onto a surface through a range of coating speeds (typically, 0.5 to 10mm/s), temperatures (250 to 350°C).

Electrospinning System

This assembly possesses the unique ability to do melt spinning of polymeric material allowing for the processing of micro- to nano-scale fibers. The e-spinning is performed through a novel innovated nozzle equipped with programmable micro-syringe pump and permitted by the electric field created between a high voltage supplier and a grounded collector.
