Thermal Analysis
Two DSC 2920's which measure thermal transitions in the temperature range of -60°C to 400°C.
TGA 2950 which measures weight loss as a function of temperature or time. Temperature range is ambient to 1000°C.
- DSC Q-100 Series based on T-Zero technology and is an extremely precise method of measuring heat flow as it allows direct measurement of heat capacity. Temperature range is -90°C to 425°C.
- TGA Q-500 measures weight loss as a function of temperature or time. This instrument does not have an autosampler. Temperature range is ambient to 1000°C.
- SDT Q-600 simultaneous DSC and TGA. Allows the simultaneous measurement of heat flow, transition temperature and weight changes in a material. Temperature range is ambient to 1500°C.
- Two Perkin Elmer DSC-7's with a temperature ranges of ambient to 425°C and -60°C to 425°C.
- Perkin Elmer TGA-7 measures weight loss as a function of temperature or time. Temperature range is ambient to 1000°C.
- Perkin Elmer TMA-7 measures dimensional and viscoelastic changes in materials as a function of temperature or time (coefficient of thermal expansion, glass transition, softening points, fiber and film studies and modulus measurements). Temperature range is -170°C to 1000°C.
- Perkin Elmer DMA-7 measures changes in mechanical behavior of a material as a function of temperature, time, frequency, or stress.
