Functional Polymers:
Design, synthesis, characterization, testing, and engineering of biocompatible materials from renewable and sustainable resources for biomedical and consumer applications. Current emphases include polymers from amino acids, hydroxyacid, silk fibroins, feather proteins, and chitosan.
