Staff and Faculty
The Institute of Materials Science serves over 100 faculty in many departments throughout the University. About 35 of these faculty run their primary research through IMS while the rest use IMS capability as needed to support their efforts. The faculty of the Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) department as well as the interdisciplinary Polymer Program faculty are all housed in IMS.
